For over 40 years, ELCO has been at the forefront of heat pump technology. In June 2024, a new chapter was opened with the introduction of the premium heat pump AEROTOP® SPK. This outstanding air-to-water heat pump has several advantages.
It uses the natural refrigerant R290 (propane), which means an additional funding bonus of 5% in Germany. It achieves flow temperatures of up to 70 °C, offers a cooling function in summer and impresses with its high efficiency, which reduces operating costs. The AEROTOP® SPK is particularly suitable for modernising existing buildings.
Our SELECTO partners are pleased about the first AEROTOP® SPK
Even before the official market launch in June 2024, the first AEROTOP® SPK systems were installed and successfully put into operation. Together with four specialist partners from the SELECTO Germany programme, properties were identified that will now benefit from the efficiency and innovative functions of the AEROTOP® SPK. ELCO Service carried out the commissioning and on-site instruction.
The German SELECTO programme
The SELECTO partner programme in Germany offers exclusive benefits to selected ELCO customers.

Two-family house with office space in Soest, Germany - Krass GmbH
Krass GmbH, under the direction of managing director Nazmi Krasniqi, has been a customer for many years and has also been a SELECTO partner since 2023. The project in Soest involved modernising an existing building by converting the two-family house with office area to a heat pump. The heating system in the house uses radiators. Single-family home in Winsen, Germany - Horst-Helmut Beecken GmbH & Co.KG
Horst-Helmut Beecken GmbH & Co. KG, a SELECTO partner since 2004, modernised an existing building in Winsen with a 2-storage cylinder solution consisting of a heat pump cylinder and a buffer cylinder. The heating system also works with radiators. The system was quick and easy to install.
We are particularly pleased that the company uses the system as a reference object for its customers.

Company building with warehouse in Pommersfelden, Germany - Gumbrecht Gebäude- und Energietechnik
The company Gumbrecht Gebäude- und Energietechnik, under the management of director Tobias Gumbrecht, has been a committed SELECTO partner since 2003. The new AEROTOP® SPK was successfully installed on the new company building, which includes office and recreation rooms as well as a warehouse. The system is characterised by its high efficiency and easy installation.

The company Hass GmbH & Co. KG, under the management of Stefan Hass, has been a loyal SELECTO partner since 2006. The company also decided to heat its company building with the AEROTOP® SPK. The system efficiently supplies office, recreational and storage areas with heat.
A decisive factor in the choice of the AEROTOP® SPK was its ease of installation and the possibility of connecting a district heating pipe from below. This solution is not only versatile, but also offers an additional 5% funding bonus thanks to the natural refrigerant R290.
