ELCO is part of Ariston Group and was founded in Switzerland in 1928. For decades, we have been at the forefront of burner, condensing boiler, heat pump and solar technology, installing over 1.7 million heating systems throughout Europe.
Since the company’s inception, we have been dedicated to providing customers with reliable and durable products, alongside the best levels of service and support in the industry. Throughout our history, ELCO has always been committed to providing customers with the best heating technology available. And, despite our expertise in combustion, we have been pioneering renewable technologies for decades, ensuring we are at the forefront of sustainability.
Looking back
ELCO took its first steps into the heating industry by manufacturing burners for oil boilers, which was soon followed by versions for gas boilers.
Building on this knowledge and expertise, we introduced the first fully integrated boiler to the market in 1983, followed by the first modulating gas condensing boiler in 1994.
During the 1970s and 1980s, ELCO entered the renewable energy market, introducing one of first vacuum solar tube, ASTRON, plus a full range of air-source, water-source and domestic hot water heat pumps.
The most progressive model was the Thermo-diesel an air-source heat pump run by a diesel engine!
