Efficiency & Emissions
TRIGON® XXL – specially designed for class leading outputs with extremely low emissions.
As an evolution of the flagship ELCO R3xxx boiler range, the new TRIGON® XXL offers unrivalled power and performance, delivering outputs up to 2 MW thanks to an outstanding design. By cascading the TRIGON® XXL boilers a total output of 32 MW can be achieved. If you deal with challenging environments, it is time to discover this innovative series of robust, efficient, compact and modular commercial boilers with us!
Minimum emissions, maximum efficiency
Thanks to the combination of a water-cooled premix burner with a cold flame and a unique stainless steel heat exchanger geometry, the TRIGON® XXL is characterised by extremely low NOx and CO emissions and maximum efficiency.
Easy transport and installation
Integrated transport wheels enable easy manoeuvring at the installation site. Thanks to ELCO's renowned modular design, the TRIGON® XXL can be dismantled into individual parts. This provides the necessary flexibility for boiler installations in commercial buildings.
Developed for complex systems
ELCO uses low water content technology to design its condensing boilers with compact dimensions and low weight. ELCO thus meets the latest requirements of modern and complex commercial installations.
Comprehensive controller functions
The TRIGON® XXL was developed for simple system integration of multiple energy sources, while master-slave cascading simplifies commissioning.
The TRIGON® XXL’s fully modulating, water-cooled cold flame burner utilises a one-of-a-kind technology to provide reliable and robust performance with up to 2 MW output. Made from bi-metal fin tubes, this integrated burner is made for challenging working conditions in commercial applications while being an additional heat exchanger at the same time.
TRIGON® XXL’s in-house developed burner technology is not only specially designed for optimised efficiency and performance during the entire lifetime – it is also renowned to achieve extremely low emissions.
By combining a unique heat exchanger geometry and a water-cooled cold flame burner the TRIGON® XXL offers class-leading performance for low NOx and CO emissions, that already comply with NOx class 6 requirements.
ELCO utilises the latest laser welding technology to ensure its stainless steel heat exchangers provide best in class efficiencies, excellent reliability and unbeatable performance over their lifetime.
This advanced robot laser welding technology ensures a very thin weld seam, reducing structural change to the tube material. Therewith, these stainless steel laser welded fin tubes guarantee superb heat transfer between the fins and the tube.
The latest commercial heating systems often include multiple heat sources, such as solar, heat pumps and CHP units. As a result, they are becoming more complex and heavily reliant on efficient heat distribution throughout the building. These demands require accurate hydraulic balancing, which is best achieved using a low loss header or buffer. However, these systems also demand a degree of flexibility and reaction time from integrated heat sources. ELCO designs its boilers to meet all of these needs by utilising low water content technology.
TRIGON® XXL boilers are fast, furious and respond rapidly – even in complex installations when combined with other heat sources. A comparative example shows the difference: The heat up time for a high water content boiler from cold condition to standby temperature is 280 seconds. A comparable TRIGON® XXL boiler needs just 30 seconds.
The TRIGON® XXL EVO series comprises ten models in the highest output class, led by a market first - the first 2 MW premix condensing boiler. The TRIGON® XXL EVO is therefore the ideal solution for large systems. A fully modulating, water-cooled, cold flame burner utilises a unique system to deliver reliable and robust performance. The heat exchanger is corrosion-resistant thanks to the high material quality of stainless steel. With a proven lightweight design and low water content, the TRIGON® XXL EVO can be easily installed as a roof centre - delivering excellent response times with low running costs. The boiler control is equipped with an easy-to-operate controller. The TRIGON® XXL EVO can then be used in future-proof, energy-optimised heating systems. Additional heating circuits, solar systems or external heat sources can be controlled by installing add-on modules.
